Viktor Gyokeres has opened the door to a potential move this summer, refusing to commit to his future to current side Sporting CP.

The talented striker has enjoyed a fruitful debut season in Liga Portugal, bagging 27 goals and becoming the league's top scorer, and has already attracted interest from a range of clubs including Arsenal, who look set to sign a forward in the summer.

Gyokeres moved to Sporting just last summer after departing Championship side Coventry and has also been linked with the Gunners' Premier League rivals Chelsea.

Unsurprisingly, his rise to success has attracted the eyes of many, with the 25-year-old recently winning the league title with Sporting.

Now, Gyokeres says he is open to a summer move and admitted he could not guarantee he would still be at the Portuguese club come the start of next season.

Speaking to A Bola, he said: "Stay next season? It's football, it's normal, I can't promise anything. I really like being here, but in football everything happens very fast and we have to adapt.

"I can't make so many predictions, it's difficult, there are still games this season, then we'll see. [Ruben Amorim] is a very good coach, I like him."

Gyokeres could become an option for Mikel Arteta's Arsenal as the Gunners look to fill their vacant centre-forward spot.

90min reported back in late February that both Arsenal and Chelsea have scouted the 25-year-old but neither side are currently prioritising a transfer, with Sporting pointing to his €100m (£86m) release clause when knocking back enquiries in January.

Arsenal have deployed Kai Havertz up front to great success this season and are open to offers for Gabriel Jesus, who has struggled with fitness issues at points during his time with the north London outfit.
