X reacts as Dominic Calvert-Lewin bullies Liverpool in Merseyside derby
- Liverpool beaten 2-0 by Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday
- Jarrad Branthwaite & Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored against lifeless Reds
- Fans on social media rounded on disappointing Mohamed Salah

Everton won their first Merseyside derby at Goodison Park in more than 13 years on Wednesday night, putting a huge dent in Liverpool's Premier League title credentials in the process.
It was Jurgen Klopp's last derby ahead of his impending Liverpool departure at the end of this season, but it won't be one that he remembers fondly given how his team were second best.
All in all, Liverpool trail Arsenal by three points with four games left and could be five points worse off than Manchester City once their games in hand fully unravel.
Is the league title now too far out of reach?
All comes from Salah not getting hold of the ball! Imagine losing the league at Goodison 🤦🏼♂️

Out battled on the way to a title, that doesn’t happen with Liverpools industrious midfield from the title winning team and Champs league. No leadership in there at all.

Jurgen Klopp's sunset quadruple might end up being a lonely Carabao Cup.

Calvert-Lewin touched the ball into the net...after it was already over the line.
Calvert-Lewin made sure but the goal was Branthwaite's. Offside check.

...but his time would soon come.
2-0 Calvert-Lewin.

Shambolic from Liverpool
Everton's big strength is set pieces and Calvert-Lewin rose unchallenged at the far post.

He was too much for Liverpool's centre-back pairing.

It was not a night for Mohamed Salah, who continues to look off his game since a January injury.
Get Nunez and Salah off for Elliot and Danns. They’re absolutely stinking the gaff out.

Salah hits the ball like a 8 year old lad these days. Zero power. Dunno what’s going on

Salah looked off it for weeks but saved his worst for tonight. So bad.

It is painful to say this, but I really think Mo Salah is done. Remarkable drop-off. New manager might have to make some ruthless decisions from the off.
