Luton Town's Thomas Kaminski has won the coveted Castrol Save of the Season award thanks to his fantastic double save to deny Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze and Jeffrey Schlupp in November 2023.

The Luton goalkeeper helped his team to their first Premier League win of the season back in November, making a number of stunning stops in the victory over Crystal Palace.

Two of which came in quick succession, as Kaminski denied a deflected effort from Eze and then a quick follow-up strike from Schlupp from the edge of the box while the scores were locked level at 0-0.

Luton then went on to win the game 2-1 thanks to goals from Teden Mengi and Jacob Brown in the second half.

Speaking back in November about the saves, Kaminski said: "It actually went quite quick, it was a shot from Eze from outside of the box that got a little deflection off of Tom Lockyer and then Schlupp got the rebound.

"I think it's a feeling I will never forget because the whole stadium was singing my name. It was a good feeling.

"It's something I've been told to do in training, don't admire your save, just stand up as quickly as you can. It kept us in the game at that moment too, [in order] to get points on the board."

Kaminski won the award ahead of Liverpool's Alisson Becker, Chelsea's Robert Sanchez, West Ham United's Alphonse Areola, Sheffield United's Wes Foderingham and Everton's Jordan Pickford.
