Real Madrid's La Liga season concludes on Saturday night when they welcome Real Betis to the Spanish capital.

Carlo Ancelotti's side may have been crowned champions weeks ago, but this bout will mean a little bit more to one man in particular. Having announced his intention to retire after Euro 2024, Los Blancos stalwart Toni Kroos will take to the Santiago Bernabeu turf one final time on Saturday for his final La Liga appearance.

Kroos, of course, will suit up in Madrid colours for the last time next week in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund.

While Ancelotti's side felt the wrath of Alexander Sorloth last weekend, Madrid have still lost just once in La Liga all season during a dominant campaign. They wrap up their domestic efforts for 2023/24 against a Betis side that will compete in next season's Conference League having secured seventh spot.

They have ended the season with just two wins from five games, however, and were beaten at home by Real Sociedad last weekend.

Here's 90min's preview of Madrid's La Liga finale.

Ancelotti is unlikely to rest key starters for Madrid's season finale in a bid to keep them fresh for next week's Champions League final.

As a result, the Italian will likely only be without long-term injury absentee David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni, who will also miss the trip to Wembley.

Toni Kroos will start in midfield on his final La Liga appearance.

The visitors' injury list is extensive and they're crucially without talisman Isco for Saturday's game. The former Real Madrid star would have been looking forward to a return to the Bernabeu given his form this season but has been struck down by an ankle injury.

Betis are also set to be without World Cup winners Guido Rodriguez and German Pezzella. Marc Bartra also misses out.

William Carvalho, Cedric Bakambu and Ezequiel Avila are all doubts.

Real Madrid vs Real Betis score prediction

With Madrid wrapping up the title weeks ago and Betis now playing for nothing, a high-octane affair should not be expected on Saturday. The game will be played at Kroos' pace.

Ancelotti will be intent on avoiding injuries and he'll undoubtedly change his lineup around as the game progresses. However, with Betis without their main goal threat, they should canter to all three points to wrap up the La Liga season.

Prediction: Real Madrid 2-0 Real Betis
