Carlo Ancelotti will merely use Real Madrid's final La Liga game of the season as a way of keeping his players fresh for next week's Champions League final.

Los Blancos wrapped up the league title weeks ago and have already enjoyed the parade. Their sole focus now lies on conquering Europe for a whopping 15th time.

Ancelotti's men have just one more fixture to navigate before travelling to Wembley as Real Betis travel to the Spanish capital. While neither side have anything to play for, Saturday's contest will be legendary midfielder Toni Kroos' last in La Liga after announcing his retirement.

Here's how Madrid could line up for Betis' visit.

GK: Thibaut Courtois - There are only a couple of positions of contention in regards to Madrid's starting XI for next week's final. Ancelotti has a big choice between Courtois and the impressive Andriy Lunin.

RB: Dani Carvajal - Carvajal entered last week's draw with Villarreal with a knock and was an unused substitute as a result. He should be fit to start on Saturday.

CB: Antonio Rudiger - The German has enjoyed an outstanding season, arguably being Europe's standout centre-back. He'll get at least an hour under his belt on Saturday before next week's final.

CB: Nacho Fernandez - Eder Militao is now fully up to speed having recovered from an ACL tear, but Nacho has been a sturdy stand-in this term and is likely to finish the season alongside Rudiger.

LB: Ferland Mendy - Mendy has been excellent this season and is a sure bet to start the final against Borussia Dortmund. With Fran Garcia waiting in the wings, the Frenchman's a candidate for an early substitution on Saturday.

DM: Eduardo Camavinga - Aurelien Tchouameni will miss the Champions League final, surely allowing Camavinga to start Madrid's final two games of the season.

CM: Toni Kroos - It's going to be all about this man on Saturday. Having announced his intention to retire after Euro 2024, this will be Kroos' final appearance at the Bernabeu. An emotional farewell is bound to follow.

CM: Federico Valverde - The Uruguayan doesn't do rests and is one of few who won't drop his intensity for this dead rubber.

AM: Jude Bellingham - Alexander Sorloth's four-goal showing against Madrid last week means Bellingham won't be taking home the Pichichi in year one. The Englishman scored in the reverse fixture during an immensely productive start to the 2023/24 season.

ST: Rodrygo - Watch out, Rodrygo, there's a certain Arda Guler coming for your spot in next week's Champions League final. The Brazilian could do with a productive outing on Saturday to allay fears of a potential dropping at Wembley.

ST: Vinicius Junior - One player who certainly won't be dropped for the final is Vinicius Junior, who's arguably been the world's best in 2024. A full 90 is unlikely this weekend.
