Premier League done deals: Every January 2025 transfer

The 2025 January transfer window has opened, with Premier League clubs eyeing reinforcements midway through another gruelling campaign.

An array of teams in the English top flight will be strengthened during the winter window as those from top to the bottom of the table look to finish strong. The last chance to bolster ranks before the end of the term, it may prove an opportunity too good to be wasted for many.

Just £96.2m was spent during 2024's January window and it remains to be seen how active Premier League sides are in the market this year. With financial restrictions in place, clubs will have to strike a balance between money-management and improving on-field performances.

Here are all the done deals from the 2025 January window in the Premier League.

Arsenal

Arsenal are unlikely to make many additions to their squad over the January window, but a long-term injury to talisman Bukayo Saka could force their hand. They have reportedly struck a deal for long-term midfield target Martin Zubimendi, although that move won't happen until the summer.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa were busy bees during the summer window and have already proven they boast a squad capable of juggling domestic and Champions League football. They have bolstered their ranks further, however, signing Donyell Malen from Borussia Dortmund.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth have already added to their squad since the January window opened, recruiting young defenders Matai Akinmboni and Julio Soler from DC United and Lanus respectively. Philip Billing and Max Aarons have both departed on loan, with the former teaming up with Antonio Conte at Napoli.

Brentford are expected to make signings in January to combat an extensive injury list, with their defence particularly affected by fitness issues.

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton & Hove Albion agreed a deal to sign promising Paraguayan midfielder Diego Gomez from Inter Miami in December, with the 21-year-old having already been unveiled to the club's supporters.

Chelsea can never be ruled out of the transfer market, with the Blues seldom able to control themselves when it comes to shiny new signings. However, January may be more about exits, with fringe players potentially leaving permanently or on loan.

Crystal Palace will likely receive interest in a number of their players over January, including the likes of Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi. However, they are near to finalising a deal for Millwall star Romain Esse.

Liverpool were quiet over the summer and are not expected to be overly busy in January. They will prioritise contract discussions with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, all of whom are currently able to agree pre-contracts with foreign clubs.

Manchester City's disappointing first half of the season and a significant long-term injury to linchpin Rodri mean that Pep Guardiola could well be gifted new players in January. The Cityzens are closing in on deals for young Vitor Reis and Abdukodir Khusanov, as well as Eintracht Frankfurt sensation Omar Marmoush.

Ruben Amorim is overseeing his first transfer window as Manchester United manager and is likely to be given funds to spend. The potential exit of Marcus Rashford could free up some budget for the Portuguese coach as he looks to turn the Red Devils' fortunes around.

New Southampton manager Ivan Juric needs additions in January if Southampton have any hope of producing a miracle and avoiding the drop. Full-back Welington has finally teamed up with the Saints after signing a contract in the summer and youngster Joachim Kayi Sanda has arrived on the south coast.

Injuries mean that Ange Postecoglou's underperforming side will be reinforced over January. Tottenham have already signed young goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague following a long-term injury to Guglielmo Vicario.
