Tottenham predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace - Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Crystal Palace to their slice of north London for a Boxing Day clash.

Antonio Conte remains unbeaten in the Premier League at the helm of Spurs, collecting 11 points from a possible 15 in his first five outings, which have been heavily punctured by snow and Covid-19.

Here's the XI the Italian tactician may call upon to maintain his unblemished start to life in N17.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - He may have shipped three goals in his last outing against the Eagles (a third of his total concessions against Tottenham's upcoming opponents) but Lloris has kept more clean sheets against Palace than any other club in his career (nine).

Davinson Sanchez (CB) - The chief beneficiary of Cristian Romero's prolonged injury absence doesn't have much longer to prove his worth of a starting berth before his fellow South American returns.

Eric Dier (CB) - Backed by Conte to become 'one of the best players in the world' in his position, Dier has thrived - particularly when on the ball himself - as the defensive anchor in Tottenham's back-three.

Ben Davies (CB) - One of three outfielders to feature in every Premier League minute under Conte.

2. Midfielders

Emerson Royal (RWB) - Afforded some rare respite for the midweek Carabao Cup victory over West Ham, the Brazil international may well slip back into league action ahead of Matt Doherty once more.

Harry Winks (CM) - As impressive as his display against Liverpool may have been, Winks must rapidly replicate the incision and faultless decisions to maintain Conte's lofty standards.

Pierre Hojbjerg (CM) - A streak of 52 consecutive Premier League starts was broken in Tottenham's last top-flight outing - though that is hardly reason enough to suggest a second straight watching brief for Hojbjerg.

Dele Alli (CM) - Enjoyed his best performance in an age against Liverpool by fulfilling the line-breaking midfield bursts the likes of Arturo Vidal and Nicolo Barella have previously been entrusted with in Conte set-ups.

Sergio Reguilon (LWB) - Having been eased back into the fold from an ankle injury suffered before Tottenham's Covid-enforced hiatus, the fitness concerns of Ryan Sessegnon have cemented a starting berth Reguilon was always likely to reclaim.

3. Forwards

Son Heung-min (ST) - Only two Premier League players have directly contributed a larger proportion of their team's goals this season than Son (scored or assisted half of Tottenham's 18 league goals).

Harry Kane (ST) - Tottenham's ten has had his only two goals of the season limited to the second-best team in the division (Liverpool) and second-worst (Newcastle) - Palace fall right in the middle of these extremes in 11th.
