Wolves host Olympiacos on Thursday night in the second leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie at Molineux Stadium, with the reverse fixture in Athens finishing 1-1 back in March.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side are coming off a disappointing 2-0 away defeat at Chelsea in their final Premier League match of the season, a result which saw them narrowly miss out on qualification for next season's Europa League. They'll need to win this competition if they are to play European football next season.

Olympiacos ended their season on a much higher note, clinching their first league title since 2016/17. Pedro Martins' side toppled local rivals AEK Athens 3-0, sitting 18 points clear at the top of the table as the Greek Superleague drew to a close.

Since returning from lockdown, Wolves haven't managed to emulate their strong run of form which catapulted them into Champions League contention.

Defeats to Arsenal, Sheffield United and Chelsea saw the Wanderers slip down into seventh place, missing out on the Europa League due to Arsenal's FA Cup success. Santo's side have managed just two wins in their last five outings.

Wolves have shown strength in their Europa League campaign so far, and the competition offers a lifeline for an anticlimactic end to their domestic season.

Despite Olympiacos' abundance of confidence at the moment, Molineux is never an easy place to come away with a result.

Prediction: Wolves 2-0 Olympiacos
