Wolves team news

Wolves aren't expecting to see Daniel Podence return for this one, although the winger's ankle issue is not believed to be season-ending, unlike right-back Nelson Semedo's hamstring injury. Max Kilman also remains out.

Lage may opt to rejig his team to reward those who changed the game last time out against Chelsea, with substitutes Francisco Trincao and Chiquinho both pushing to start.

Man City team news

Guardiola has confirmed Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias and John Stones will not return this season through injury, while the boss also has concerns about Nathan Ake's fitness as the Dutchman battles an ankle problem.

Numbers are limited at the back, with Guardiola likely to use Fernandinho in a deeper role and call up youngsters Luke Mbete and CJ Egan-Riley onto the bench.

Wolves vs Man City score prediction

Wolves have been incredibly shaky defensively in recent weeks, with Kilman's absence proving a real problem, and they won't be particularly excited about facing the Premier League's most potent attack here.

For all their injury woes, City's reserve players are still more than good enough to shut Wolves out and Guardiola will demand ruthlessness at the other end of the field now that they have one hand on the league title.

Wolves have lost four of their last six and needed a 96th-minute strike from Conor Coady to stop that from being five last week. That's not the kind of form you want to be in when City come to town.

Prediction: Wolves 0-3 Manchester City
