Wolves and Aston Villa meet for a West Midlands derby in the Premier League this weekend, with both teams on the hunt for points after losing their final fixtures before pausing for the March international break.

Wolves were beaten at home by Leeds last time out in a five-goal thriller, ending a prior run of two successive victories over Watford and Everton.

Villa, on the other hand, have lost two in a row against West Ham and Arsenal most recently, albeit by a single goal each time. They had won three games back-to-back before that.

This is everything you need to know about this weekend's clash...

Wolves team news

Raul Jimenez is suspended following a red card in his last appearance. That should see Hwang Hee-chan start in his place. Elsewhere, Ruben Neves will be absent until May with a knee injury he suffered against Leeds that same night.

Pedro Neto and Nelson Semedo have used the international break to recover, although a lack of match fitness could still keep the pair out of the starting lineup for now. Ki-Jana Hoever has also been progressing but may not return to the squad just yet.

Aston Villa team news

Leon Bailey may not start following a long-haul international flight back from representing and scoring for Jamaica in World Cup qualifiers, but Lucas Digne is expected to return to the starting lineup after recovering from injury.

Kortney Hause is the only confirmed absentee, with Marvlous Nakamba back in full training.

Wolves vs Aston Villa score prediction

The reverse fixture at Villa Park earlier in the season finished as a 3-2 win in Wolves' favour, secured by a sensational late comeback in the final few minutes of the match.

Both of these teams are capable of producing top quality on a given day. But while Wolves come into this one in slightly better form, the loss of Neves is a major blow and could limit them.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Aston Villa
