Wolverhampton Wanderers finished seventh in the Premier League for the second successive season and saw their year-long season finally end with elimination to Sevilla in the Europa League.

Nevertheless, it's been another remarkable campaign for a side who have competed in more games than we've had hot dinners.

With a few additions, Wolves could be a real force to be reckoned with - but there's also the small matter of deciding who should stay and who should go. Here, 90min breaks down what Nuno should be looking to do.

1. Goalkeepers

Rui Patricio (STAY) - With 87 caps for Portugal and a Euro 2016 winners medal, Rui Patricio has established himself as a fine goalkeeper over the last few years.

John Ruddy (STAY) - The former England international has seen his game time limited to mainly domestic cup games, but he is competent back up for Patricio.

Will Norris (GO) - Having played most of his career in the lower leagues, the 26-year old is unlikely to dislodge Patricio from the starting lineup and should look elsewhere for game time.

Matija Sarkic (STAY) - Sarkic was signed by Wolves this summer on a free transfer from Aston Villa, and at just 23 years old, could have a decent future.

Christian Sondergaard (LOAN) - The Dane has featured many times for Wolves Under-23s, but will likely need a loan move to get some senior first team minutes.

2. Full-Backs

Matt Doherty (STAY) - During Doherty's time at Molineux, Wolves have gone down from the Premier League all the way to League One, and then back up to the top flight again. The Irishman's attacking threat is a key part of Nuno's system.

Jonny Castro Otto (STAY) - Since signing in 2018, Jonny has been a regular for Wolves, featuring 87 times in all competitions.

Ruben Vinagre (STAY) - The 21-year old is expected to have a bright future, with footballing giants such as Liverpool and Barcelona believed to be interested.

Luke Matheson (LOAN) - Matheson made everyone feel old back in September when he scored for Rochdale at Old Trafford aged 16. The teenager has potential, but it may be too early for him to start playing regular Premier League football.

Oskar Buur (GO) - During his three-year spell at Molineux, Buur has rarely featured. Perhaps it's time for the Dane to move on.

3. Centre-Backs

Conor Coady (STAY) - Wolves' club captain has cemented his place at the heart of the defence, making 234 appearances in all competitions since signing in 2015.

Willy Boly (STAY) - The Frenchman has been a hit for Wolves, and is surely part of Nuno's plans. However, with a year left on his contract, it's time to tie him down.

Romain Saiss (STAY) - Saiss' role at Wolves has grown in the last year - featuring 48 times in all competitions. His versatility offers vital cover. However, he too only has one year left on his contract.

Ryan Bennett (GO) - After being loaned out to Leicester last January, it appears as if Bennett's time is up at Molineux.

Max Kilman (STAY) - The 23-year old is decent enough cover for the back three.

Roderick Miranda (GO) - The 29-year old hasn't made an appearance for Wolves since their promotion to the Premier League, and with a year left on his contract, don't be surprised to see the Midlands club cash in while they still can.

Christian Marques (LOAN) - At just 17 years old, Marques could have a big future. However, it is unlikely that he will get game time next season at Molineux, so he should seek a loan move.

Dion Sanderson (GO) - The youngster made just ten appearances on loan at Cardiff last season, so the chances of Sanderson breaking into the first team at Wolves are slim.

4. Central Midfielders

Joao Moutinho (STAY) - Despite his age, Moutinho still has plenty to offer - registering two goals and 14 assists in the last two league campaigns.

Ruben Neves (STAY) - With an exceptional passing range and a tendency to score screamers, Ruben Neves has established himself as a fan-favourite at Molineux. Nuno could struggle to keep hold of the 23-year old this summer if a big club comes calling.

Leander Dendoncker (STAY) - The Belgian featured in every single league game last season, and offers an option at both centre-back and central midfield.

Morgan Gibbs-White (LOAN) - The England youth international earned a lot of attention for his performances in the 18/19 season. However, he played just 126 minutes last term because of injury. A loan move could be necessary for Gibbs-White to rediscover his form.

Bruno Jordao (STAY) - The former Lazio man has found his game time highly limited this season. However, he is still young and could be a useful asset in the future.

Connor Ronan (GO) - The young Irishman made little impression during various loan spells, and it seems like a future at Molineux is unlikely.

Meritan Shabani (LOAN) - The former Bayern Munich man spent large parts of last season out injured. He could be a useful player in the future, but may need a loan move to prove his worth.

Taylor Perry (LOAN - The 19-year old has previously spoken of his desire to make it at his local club. The future could be bright for Perry, but he'll probably need to go on loan for the next campaign.

Terry Taylor (LOAN) - Much like Perry, the youngster has the hunger for success at Wolves. Once again, though, he will need game time, which he is unlikely to get unless he goes on loan.

Owen Otasowie (LOAN) - The American recently signed a new deal at Molineux, so the club clearly see something in him.

5. Wingers

Adama Traore (STAY) - With frightening pace, incredible strength, and the record for most take-ons in a Premier League season, Adama Traore could be one of the best wingers in the world with a bit of fine-tuning.

Pedro Neto (STAY) - The 20-year old has had an encouraging debut season at Molineux, and there could be much more to come from the Portuguese winger.

Diogo Jota (STAY) - While his output last season was not as impressive as previous years, the 23-year old still has a lot of talent and potential.

Daniel Podence (STAY) - The former Olympiacos winger showed some promise after the restart, and could play a key role in the coming season for Wolves.

6. Forwards

Raul Jimenez (STAY) - The Mexican has been nothing short of brilliant since signing in 2018. Wolves could face a real fight to keep Jimenez at Molineux this summer, with Juventus and Manchester United supposedly interested.

Patrick Cutrone (GO) - Cutrone was highly rated when he first came to England, but netted only three times before going on loan to Fiorentina for 18 months. That deal has another year to run, and Wolves would be best served if La Viola took up their option to made the move permanent.

Rafa Mir (GO) - The Spaniard struggled on loan at Nottingham Forest last season, but did enjoy a reasonably successful spell at Huesca in the Spanish second tier. At 23 years old, Mir will need regular minutes, which he is unlikely to get at Wolves.

Leo Bonatini (GO) - An important part of the side that got promoted in 2018, Bonatini has found himself on the fringes at Molineux - not making a single start for Wolves in over two years.

Leonardo Campana (STAY) - Despite not making an appearance since signing in January, the Ecuadorian international has potential. With three years on his contract, the 20-year old still has time to make an impact.

Renat Dadashov (GO) - The 21-year old hardly featured while on loan at Pacos de Ferreira last campaign, and it looks like the Azerbaijani striker has little future at Wolves.
