The draw for the third round of the FA Cup is one of the most anticipated occasions for clubs up and down England.

Lower division sides will be hopeful of drawing a Premier League powerhouse to attract the cameras and cash that come with it and there have already been some glorious giant-killing stories in the competition this season.

While most eyes across the globe were fixed on the World Cup in Qatar, supporters up and down the land were heading through the turnstiles in hope of witnessing some FA Cup magic.

The draw for the FA Cup 2022/23 third round will take place on Monday 28 November. It will take place in the evening at Anfield, where current cup holders Liverpool play their home games.

When does the FA Cup 2022/23 third round begin?

The FA Cup 2022/23 third round games are scheduled to be played across the weekend of Saturday 7 January. Once ties are confirmed, selections for televised broadcasting will be announced. BBC Sport and ITV Sport hold the broadcasting rights for the FA Cup in the United Kingdom.
