When is the 2023 Carabao Cup final? Dates & fixture schedule for every round

The Carabao Cup may not carry the prestige of other domestic cup competitions, but silverware is silverware and we're approaching the business end of this season's iteration.

Just four teams remain as a two-legged semi-final separates four Premier League sides from a chance of claiming the season's first available piece of silverware. No, the Charity Shield does not count!

At the semi-final stage, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Southampton and Nottingham Forest are all vying for Wembley glory.

While a re-emerging beast is still involved, the three other teams have been shy of trophies for an incredibly long time. Victory in this competition would be huge for different reasons.

Once the semi-finals are in the books, our attentions will turn to the competition's showpiece event. Here are all the details regarding the 2023 Carabao Cup final.

2022/23 Carabao Cup round dates

When is the 2023 Carabao Cup final?

The 2023 Carabao Cup final will be played on Sunday February 26. A kick-off time for the final is yet to be confirmed, but the 2022 final kicked off at 16:30 (BST) and it's likely that'll be the case this time around.

Once again, the Carabao Cup final will be held at Wembley Stadium.

We're yet to discover the two finalists, but with one half of the semi finals played we know Manchester United have one foot in Wembley's final.

The Red Devils are likely to eliminate Nottingham Forest after a 3-0 away win before the return fixture at Old Trafford. Their opponents could be Newcastle, who beat Southampton 1-0 at St Mary's.

Does the Carabao Cup final clash with Premier League games?

The Carabao Cup final will not clash with any Premier League games, but a couple of games will need to be rescheduled.

On the weekend of 25/26 February, Newcastle, Southampton, Man Utd and Nottingham Forest are all scheduled to be in action. The two teams who make it to the final will need to find a spot to play that league game further down the line.
