West Ham welcome Southampton to the London Stadium on Boxing Day as the Hammers look to claw their way back into the top four.
A defeat in their previous Premier League outing away to Arsenal saw the Gunners leapfrog David Moyes' men in the table, with West Ham having won just once in their previous seven outings in all competitions.
Southampton, meanwhile, hover six points above the relegation zone in a season where they have sorely lacked consistency. The Saints are winless in their last six games, three of which have ended in draws.

West Ham vs Southampton head-to-head record

The Hammers have won their last four games against Southampton at the London Stadium, although they were held to a goalless draw when these sides met back in September.
Michail Antonio was dismissed in stoppage time in a lifeless affair at St. Mary's before West Ham surged up the league with an impressive run of form during the autumn.
West Ham vs Southampton score prediction
Moyes' side are beginning to feel the pinch of their growing injury list, with Antonio's energy levels in attack suffering after shouldering the goalscoring burden this campaign.
The Hammers have not found the net in three of their last four outings in all competitions and they face a Southampton side who have a similar goalscoring problem.
With that in mind, these two teams may play out another goalless draw.
Prediction: West Ham 0-0 Southampton
