West Ham, buoyed by their superb start to the season, welcome Manchester United to the London Stadium on Sunday, looking to extend an unbeaten run that dates back to 9 May.

The Hammers are full of beans after comfortably dispatching Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 in their opening Europa League group game, and they have taken eight points from a possible 12 to begin the Premier League campaign.

United have fared slightly better domestically - winning three of their opening four Premier League games, drawing the other - but slipped to a catastrophic defeat to Young Boys in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The obvious bright spark for the Red Devils is the early form of Cristiano Ronaldo, and he should again lead the line for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

West Ham team news

West Ham are without the suspended Michail Antonio after he got himself needlessly sent off in the dying moments of last Saturday's 0-0 draw with Southampton, leaving a gaping hole up top.

There are no other real concerns for David Moyes right now, with rotation and keeping players fresh his main priority. Vladimir Coufal should come back in on the right side of defence - despite Ryan Fredericks' impressive showing in Zagreb - and there should also be recalls for Angelo Ogbonna and Jarrod Bowen, the latter potentially leading the line in Antonio's absence.

Kurt Zouma could make his full Premier League debut for West Ham, while Nikola Vlasic should keep his place after impressing in his native Croatia.

Man Utd team news

Manchester United are hopeful of having Scott McTominay back to start his first game since the opening day of the season, but Edinson Cavani is ruled out of the trip to east London.

McTominay has been training since Wednesday and could take his place alongside Fred in a more compact central midfield pairing. That may push Paul Pogba wide left again, leaving Jadon Sancho among the substitutes.

Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo are still on the treatment table, as are Dean Henderson and the forgotten Phil Jones.

West Ham vs Man Utd score prediction

This should be an exciting game between two sides who have been terrific early-season form.

West Ham are unbeaten in four months, dating back to 9 May, which equates to eight competitive games and 15 if you include pre-season friendlies. Granted, the absence of Antonio will be a blow for the Hammers, but the versatility of Jarrod Bowen, as well as the movement and intelligent play of Said Benrahma, Pablo Fornals and Nikola Vlasic, should mean the hosts still pose a significant threat.

United are always a danger, particularly now Ronaldo is leading the line and firing on all cylinders. He scored twice on his return to Premier League action last Saturday, with a plethora of creative options - including Pogba and Bruno Fernandes - likely to provide him with more chances here.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs a response after the midweek loss to Young Boys, and he might get a result here - but it may be a share of the spoils in a pulsating game.

Prediction: West Ham 2-2 Manchester United
