Chelsea travel across London to face West Ham in Saturday's early kick-off as they look to consolidate their position at the summit of the Premier League table.

Midweek brought a 2-1 victory over Watford for the Blues, although Thomas Tuchel admitted his side were "lucky" after Hakim Ziyech struck the winning goal late in the second half.

Meanwhile, West Ham were held at home by Brighton to make it three games without a victory for David Moyes' men after their stunning victory over Liverpool last month.

Here's everything you need to know about the game.

West Ham team news

West Ham are healthy on the injury front, with David Moyes having the luxury of a full complement of players heading into a busy month of December.

The only exception is defender Angelo Ogbonna whose cruciate ligament injury has ruled him out for the season, although full-back Aaron Cresswell is a slight doubt after missing the midweek draw with Brighton through injury.

N'Golo Kante is expected to miss out as he continues his recovery from a knee injury, while Mateo Kovacic has been sidelined through a thigh problem.

Meanwhile, Ben Chilwell is a long-term absentee after suffering a partial tear of his ACL, and Reece James is a doubt with an ankle injury.

To add to Tuchel's injury woes, Trevoh Chalobah hobbled off against Watford in midweek after hurting his hamstring.

West Ham vs Chelsea head-to-head record

Chelsea won both meetings between these sides last season, with Timo Werner earning the Blues a 1-0 victory over the Hammers at the London Stadium back in April.

The visitors hold the upper hand in the head-to-head record with 52 wins, but recent history has seen meetings between these sides sway in both directions.

Chelsea have won just three out of their last seven against West Ham in all competitions, losing both encounters against the Irons in 2019/20 under Frank Lampard.

West Ham vs Chelsea score prediction

Chelsea took Leicester apart in their last Saturday lunchtime kick-off away from home, although West Ham will provide a stiffer test.

Moyes' men inflicted Liverpool's only defeat of the season last month, and their solid defensive base will likely cause Tuchel some issues.

Expect a close encounter, with the Blues to edge it.

Prediction: West Ham 0-1 Chelsea
