West Ham United welcome Brighton to the London Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The east London outfit is the only Premier League team without a point or even a goal at this premature stage of the season. Brighton failed to find the net against Newcastle last weekend, registering their 22nd 0-0 draw in the last five years - comfortably the highest tally of goose eggs in England's top tier during that period.

Here's everything you need to know about the meeting between this goal-shy pair.

West Ham team news

Lukasz Fabianski managed to shake off a hip injury he sustained during West Ham's defeat to Manchester City on the opening weekend of the campaign to feature at Nottingham Forest.

New signing Thilo Kehrer is in line to start in central defence alongside Kurt Zouma, but fellow centre-back Angelo Ogbonna is "not ready yet to be considered for the first team" according to David Moyes. Craig Dawson is edging closer to a return but another injury-stricken defender for the Hammers, Nayef Aguerd, could be out until after the World Cup.

West Ham predicted lineup vs Brighton

West Ham Starting 11: Fabianski; Johnson, Zouma, Kehrer, Cresswell; Soucek, Rice; Bowen, Fornals, Benrahma; Antonio
Bench: Areola, Randolph, Scamacca, Lanzini, Downes, Cornet, Coventry, Ashby, Coufal

Brighton team news

Graham Potter was able to name an unchanged side from the one that dispatched Manchester United against Newcastle last weekend. Given the lack of any fresh injury concerns - with Jakub Moder the only long-term absentee - Potter could keep the same XI for three games on the spin for the first time since April 2021.

Brighton predicted lineup vs West Ham

Brighton Starting 11: Sanchez; Veltman, Dunk, Webster; March, Mac Allister, Caicedo, Trossard; Gross, Lallana; Welbeck
Bench: Steele, Lamptey, Colwill, Mwepu, Alzate, Sarmiento, Undav, Mitoma, Van Hecke

West Ham vs Brighton score prediction

Moyes' side may not have beaten Brighton since the pair shared the Championship in 2012, but they haven't been bested by the Seagulls all too often, drawing six of their previous seven meetings.

West Ham's wait for a Premier League point and goal could both come to an end this weekend if they continue the pattern of score draws against another well-coached side.

Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Brighton
