West Bromwich Albion take on Crystal Palace at The Hawthorns this weekend as Slaven Bilic's side look to build on their first win of the season against Sheffield United.

Conor Gallagher's deflected effort gave the Baggies all three points last weekend, piling further misery on Chris Wilder's Blades in the process.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, will be looking to right the wrongs of two consecutive Premier League losses, with a poor display last time out condemning the Eagles to a late, and surprise, 2-0 defeat to Newcastle at Selhurst Park.

Here's 90min's preview of the game.

Team News

West Brom have Jake Livermore and Kieron Gibbs available after recovering from COVID-19, but 22-year-old Sam Field remains out injured.

The Baggies have no other injury concerns to contend with, and will instead look to supply Karlan Grant with the ammunition to fire the club to back-to-back victories.

Wilfried Zaha has missed Palace's last two games after being forced to self-isolate, but Hodgson has confirmed that the Ivory Coast international has been in training all week and is back in contention. Luka Milivojevic is also back for selection after serving a three-match ban for a rash challenge on Wolves' Joao Moutinho back in October.

Predicted Lineups

West Brom: Johnstone; Bartley, Ajayi, Ivanovic; Furlong, Krovinovic, Gallagher, Sawyers; Diangana, Pereira, Grant

Crystal Palace: Guaita; Clyne; van Aanholt, Dann, Cahill; Kouyate, McArthur, Eze, Townsend; Ayew, Zaha

Recent Form

Spirits will be high at The Hawthorns after their first victory of the season last weekend, and the performance overall will have pleased Bilic.

They are still in the relegation zone, however, after Fulham picked up a surprise 2-1 victory over Leicester at King Power Stadium. The Baggies have six points, but worryingly have only scored seven goals so far this season.

After a bright side, Crystal Palace have tailed off slightly in recent weeks, losing three of their last five Premier League games. But the Eagles are just four points behind West Ham in fifth, showing the congested nature of the division so far.

Christian Benteke is a man still very much out of form, so the onus will again be on Zaha to provide a spark if he comes back into the side from the start.

Here's how both sides have got on in their last five.

West Brom

West Brom 1-0 Sheffield United (28/11)
Manchester United 1-0 West Brom (21/11)
West Brom 0-1 Tottenham (08/11)
Fulham 2-0 West Brom (02/11)
Brighton 1-1 West Brom (26/10)

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace 0-2 Newcastle (27/11)
Burnley 1-0 Crystal Palace (23/11)
Crystal Palace 1-4 Leeds United (07/11)
Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace (30/10)
Fulham 1-2 Crystal Palace (24/10)

Prediction

Both sides have failed to find any sort of consistency yet this season and that is usually the difference between going up and staying down. West Brom's win last weekend will plant seeds of confidence, and Sam Johnstone's continued assuredness in goal is something to draw inspiration from.

Palace struggle to score goals, as do the hosts, and the return of Zaha may be enough to earn the visitors a share of the spoils.

Prediction: West Brom 1-1 Crystal Palace
