Leeds romped to their second win in three days, putting West Brom to the sword 5-0 at The Hawthorns.

The game got off to a strange start when Romaine Sawyers scored a bizarre own goal. The former Brentford midfielder attempted a back pass to Sam Johnstone, without realising that the Baggies goalkeeper was not between the sticks and therefore unable to prevent the ball nestling in the back of the net.

Leeds then doubled their advantage on the half hour mark when Ezgjan Alioski arrowed a left-footed strike in off the post.

The visitors went on to add two more before the break. First, Jack Harrison drove into the area, before playing a neat one-two with Patrick Bamford and smashing home. Rodrigo's strike - which took a wicked deflection off Dara O'Shea - then made it 4-0.

After the break West Brom managed to stem the tide until the 71st minute when Raphinha cut inside and curled an unstoppable effort into the top corner.

Here are your player ratings for both sides...

West Brom

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Sam Johnstone (GK) - 4/10 - Nothing he could do about the first goal, or many of the others for that matter...

Darnell Furlong (RB) - 4/10 - Given a torrid time by Harrison throughout proceedings.

Semi Ajayi (CB) - 3/10 - A far cry from his heroic performances against Liverpool and Manchester City.

Dara O'Shea (CB) - 3/10 - Unlucky to deflect Rodrigo's effort past Johnstone. Struggled to deal with Leeds' incredible movement.

Lee Peltier (LB) - 4/10 - Shoehorned into the starting XI after Kieran Gibbs was injured in the warm up. Did not do too badly considering.

2. Midfielders

Romaine Sawyers (DM) - 2/10 - Horrific brainfart led to the own goal. Never recovered after that, regressing into a complete passenger in midfield.

Callum Robinson (RM) - 3/10 - Very much a spare part. Was hardly afforded any opportunities to dribble.

Matt Phillips (CM) - 3/10 - Had 19 touches of the ball (in central midfield), before being substituted at half time. Ineffectual.

Conor Gallagher (CM) - 5/10 - His team's best midfielder. The only one to offer Leeds serious resistance when they were on the counter.

Grady Diangana (LM) - 5/10 - His team's brightest - and only - spark going forward. Dead ball deliveries were decent.

3. Forwards

Karlan Grant (ST) - 5/10 - Had 14 touches in an hour and zero shots. In his defence, he was entirely starved of service.

4. Substitutes

Branislav Ivanovic - 5/10 - Added some solidity but by the time he came on it was already 4-0.

Matheus Pereira - 5/10 - Barely touched it.

Filip Krovinovic - N/A

5. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Illan Meslier (GK) - 7/10 - Looked slightly uncertain on crosses but did not make any mistakes.

Luke Ayling (CB) - 8/10 - Covered really well on the few occasions the Baggies threatened. Completed a game high three blocks.

Kalvin Phillips (CB) - 9/10 - Mesmeric display. Solid defensively and also stepped up into midfield to spray some outstanding passes.

Pascal Struijk (CB) - 8/10 - Gobbled up West Brom's long balls for fun, winning six aerial duels. Perhaps fortunate not to be penalised for a handball.

6. Midfielders

Raphinha (RM) - 9/10 - Scored the pick of his side's goals in the second half. A just reward for his tireless efforts.

Stuart Dallas (CM) - 8/10 - Full of energy. Had no problem switching to right-back when Leeds' press called for it.

Mateusz Klich (CM) - 8/10 - Played his part in Leeds' all conquering press and also drove forward with purpose at times.

Ezgjan Alioski (CM) - 8/10 - Wondrous strike for Leeds' second goal. Made even better as it clipped the post on its way in.

Jack Harrison (LM) - 9/10 - Showed quick feet and composure to score in the first half. Impressive throughout.

7. Attacking Midfielders & Forwards

Rodrigo (AM) - 8/10 - Fortunate deflection allowed him to score. Took up some promising positions in the hole which helped his side pick West Brom apart.

Patrick Bamford (ST) - 8/10 - Will be disappointed not to score, but managed to register a clever assist.

8. Substitutes

Jamie Shackleton - 7/10 - Slotted in seamlessly after coming on.

Pablo Hernandez - 6/10 - Not as heroic as some of his other recent substitute appearances but he played his role.

Helder Costa - N/A
