Watford will be looking to end a near two-month winless run when they make the short trip to the London Stadium to take on West Ham on Tuesday.

The Hornets have not tasted victory since beating Manchester United back in November and defeating the high-flying Hammers will not be easy. If anyone can spring a surprise though, it's Roy Hodgson.

Here is the starting XI the wily veteran seems most likely to select in midweek...

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Ben Foster (GK) - The veteran, who 90min spoke exclusively to last week, continues to keep Daniel Bachmann out of the side.

Kiko Femina (RB) - Femina arrived in the Premier League with a good reputation, but he's only completed three crosses into the penalty area this season.

Craig Cathcart (CB) - None of his teammates have come close to completing as many blocks (39) as him in the Premier League this term.

Samir (CB) - A January arrival from Udinese, the Brazilian helped Watford secure a rare clean sheet last time out. He might have conceded a penalty, though.

Hassane Kamara (LB) - Another winter signing who has looked pretty decent since making his debut.

2. Midfielders

Juraj Kucka (RM) - Sorry, but he just is not Premier League quality. At least he tries.

Edo Kayembe (CM) - Yet another January signing. Yet to really make his mark in Hertfordshire.

Moussa Sissoko (CM) - Hodgson will be looking for some big performances from Sissoko before the end of the season.

Ken Sema (LM) - Needs to deliver here with Watford's talisman, Ismaila Sarr, not back from AFCON duty.

3. Forwards

Emmanuel Dennis (ST) - Back from suspension, their top scorer's return is a massive boost for the Hornets. He will come in for Joao Pedro most likely.

Joshua King (ST) - A decent foil for Dennis, King holds the ball up well. Hasn't scored enough recently.
