Ravaged by a Covid-19 outbreak earlier this week, Watford welcome Crystal Palace to Vicarage Road on Saturday in desperate need of points.

The Hornets were forced to postpone their midweek trip to fellow relegation battlers Burnley due to several positive tests in the squad, with question marks over the number of players they will be able to select from for the visit of the Eagles.

With that in mind, here's the Watford XI that we believe should start as long as they are free to do so.

Watford predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace - Premier League

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Dan Bachmann (GK) - Ben Foster's injury has thrown the Austrian into the team.

Kiko Femenia (RB) -
One of the Hornets' better performers this season despite being plagued by injury.

William Troost-Ekong (CB) -
Will be keen to amend for his error which led to Brentford's winning penalty last weekend.

Craig Cathcart (CB) -
The veteran must use his experience to steer Watford clear of safety.

Jeremy Ngakia (LB) -
Still only 21 years old and one to keep an eye on in the future.

2. Midfielders

Juraj Kucka (CM) - Great in the air and his battling qualities ensure Watford are not overrun in midfield.

Moussa Sissoko (CM) - The driving force from midfield, capable of injecting energy into his side's displays.

Tom Cleverley (CM) - Mostly renowned for the ill-fated end to his Man Utd career, but he's integral to this Watford side.

3. Forwards

Cucho Hernandez (RW) - A tricky customer for opposing defences with his pace and trickery.

Emmanuel Dennis (ST) - The Hornets' talisman this season, carrying the goalscoring burden in a struggling side.

Josh King (LW) - The Norwegian has been moved into a wider role in the emergence of Dennis.
