The US men's national team are set to take on Trinidad & Tobago in the Concacaf Nations League on November 16 at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas.

The US will take the field two more times in 2023, starting off with a clash with the Soca Warriors in the Nations League quarterfinals. Gregg Berhalter's side is coming off an October international break where they fell to Germany in Julian Nagelsmann's first game in charge, but they were able to avenge the defeat with a 4-0 triumph over previous World Cup foes Ghana.

The USMNT will hope to avoid any close encounters like the 2017 2-1 defeat that saw them miss out on the 2018 World Cup. With the likes of Christian Pulisic and Tim Weah out through injury, Berhalter will call on other forwards in his squad to do damage on the wings to propel the team to victory.

USMNT team news

The Stars and Stripes will be without key figures Pulisic and Weah, as both forwards are dealing with thigh injuries. Both Weah and Pulisic's 2023 USMNT campaigns are likely over, as the duo are expected to return to action later on in November.

Kevin Parades, Brenden Aaronson and Alex Zendejas will all get chances to show their quality on the wings in place of Pulisic and Weah.

USMNT vs Trinidad & Tobago score prediction

Even without the likes of Pulisic and Weah, the Stars and Stripes have plenty of firepower within their ranks to make this a lopsided scoreline in their favor. A favorable score could also see Berhalter opt to give players such as Paxten Aaronsen and Lennard Maloney more minutes under their belt.

The soccer world would be shocked if this one is close, and the US should prevail with a dominant performance at Q2 Stadium.

Prediction: USMNT 5-0 Trinidad & Tobago
