USA 3 -2 Mexico - June 2021

The USMNT were crowned Nations League winners after their hard-fought 3-2 win over Mexico in June 2021. Though Mexico took the lead in the game twice, the USMNT managed to claw their way back each time to stay in the game and eventually clinch the inaugural trophy. Ultimately, it was Christian Pulisic's 114th minute penalty that proved to be enough for the Stars and Stripes and make him the hero for the USMNT once again.

USA 1-0 Mexico - August 2021

Like the previous game, the USMNT narrowly defeated their rivals to get their hands on silverware.

In a dramatic fashion, the match went into extra time and called for some last-gasp heroics from the USMNT to capture the Gold Cup. In the end, a headed goal from a set-piece by Miles Robinson in the 117th minute sealed the 1-0 victory for the USA.

USA 2-0 Mexico - November 2021

The two sides met in November 2021 as they both edged towards qualification for the 2022 World Cup. The high-pressured match saw Mexico struggle against their northern rivals, as goals from Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie were enough for the hosts to take a further step to punching their ticket to Qatar.

Mexico 0-0 USA - March 2022

For the first time on the list of recent games, the USMNT were unable to defeat Mexico. While the American side would've liked to had a smash-and-grab victory, they were unable to get past Mexico's long-standing goalkeeper, Guillermo Ochoa.

Mexico dominated possession in the game , leaving the northern rivals left frustrated. Lucky for both, each side went on to feature at the 2022 World Cup, though.

USA 1-1 Mexico - April 2023

It seems that the USMNT's winning fortunes against El Tri have dried up after two consecutive draws. The game was labeled an international 'friendly,' but has there ever been a friendly meeting between the two sides?

Uriel Antuna kicked off the scoring for Mexico in the second half, before MLS figure Jesus Ferreira managed a late goal to spoiled El Tri's hopes of capturing a rare recent road victory in the States.
