US Open Cup round-of-16 draw: El Trafico, Florida derby & more

13 teams from Major League Soccer have learned their US Open Cup fate following the round-of-16 draw.

The likes of LAFC, Nashville SC, and NYCFC are among the favorites to lift the coveted trophy after beating the Portland Timbers, Atlanta United, and Rochester New York FC, respectively, in the previous round.

USL is also still strongly represented by three teams: Union Omaha, Louisville City, and the Sacramento Republic. The trio will do well to reach the quarter-finals, though, after being paired with MLS clubs in the next round.

All round-of-16 games will be played on May 24 and 25.

1. Northeast region
