Twitter reacts as West Brazil dismantle Chelsea in Stamford Bridge slaughter
By Max Cooper

Do not adjust your TV set (or phone screen, for you young'uns): West Bromwich Albion have scored FIVE against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues must have thought they were going to be eased back into the Premier League rigmarole nice and gently with the visit of the second worst team in the top flight, and cement their place in the top four in the process.
In fact, the pre-match vibes all spoke to a clean-sheet whitewash in the offing.

Stop, just win. Even if it's just 5-0

And the early signs, even with the returning and slightly shaky Thiago Silva, were that Thomas Tuchel would be strolling home with three points.
Only 27 minutes in, Christian Pulisic broke the deadlock, bagging his first goal of the Tuchel era.

The fun and games lasted fewer than two minutes however, as the aforementioned Silva dipped into his infinite bag of experience and knowhow, completely ignored whatever he pulled out, and committed a silly challenge to earn a second yellow card.
You'd never have guessed that Thiago Silva, one of the best centre backs of his generation, would find that West Brom would be his bogey club.

That's Thiago Silva's first red card since May 2013. #CFC #CHEWBA

Branislav Ivanovic also made his return to Stamford Bridge after enjoying a successful nine years with the Blues, but his afternoon lasted 13 minutes, as the substitute had to be subbed off with an injury.

Inevitably, Chelsea collapsed with only ten men, conceding twice in first-half injury time to somehow head into the dressing rooms behind.
Chelsea hadn't conceded at home for 3 months. West Brom hadn't scored since mid-feb. Transferred in double Chelsea defence in my fpl team. Halftime score: Chelsea 1-2 West Brom#fpl pic.twitter.com/hM9wszDEpK

Tuchel decided he had to switch it up at half-time, taking off goalscorer Pulisic and bringing on fans' favourite Mason Mount. Despite his goal, some of you weren't too convinced that the American is back and firing at his best.

Not all of you completely agreed with Tuchel's decision, of course.
Pulisic has 2 G/A in 2 starts at LW under Tuchel..

Glass-half-full Chelsea supporters took plenty of comfort from the return of Pulisic to the scoresheet - perhaps a bit too much comfort - as in, they didn't give two hoots that they were getting absolutely pasted by some proper plodders.
Three points dropped but Pulisic on the score sheet

I care about Pulisic. I don't care about Chelsea aside from that.

Seeing Pulisic unfairly withdrawn after scoring a goal, and then Chelsea getting POUNDED by the team at the bottom of the table?
I'll take it.
I think that guy has forgotten that Chelsea were losing with Pulisic on the pitch, too...
So, 2-1 down at half-time, it was time for the Blues to come out and blow the Baggies away. Instead, they were ripped apart twice by Big Sam's boys, as West Brom temporarily transformed into West Brazil.

Pride of Stamford Bridge Mount did pull one back, although many questioned Timo Werner's decision not to shoot with the goal gaping (having seen his miss for Germany in midweek, he probably made the right choice).

And then, just to rub it in, Robinson scored a fifth in injury-time to condemn Chelsea to a humiliating 5-2 defeat.
