Twitter reacts to Kylian Mbappe signing new PSG contract

It's official. Kylian Mbappe has turned down a move to Real Madrid and has signed a new three-year deal at Paris Saint-Germain.
It had long looked like the 23-year-old would be heading to the Santiago Bernabeu on a free transfer, but he's spurned Los Blancos' advances and is staying at Parc des Princes.
PSG announced the news shortly before kick-off for their last game of the season at home to Metz on Saturday evening.

Understandably, Real Madrid fans were not happy and set out to remind PSG that they knocked them out of this season's Champions League.

The beauty of twitter. A Real Madrid fan from Peru reacts to the official Spanish language Ligue 1 account - mocking Real Madrid and La Liga for not signing Mbappe - by stating that Nottingham Forest have more European Cups than every team in France combined pic.twitter.com/cYbTMIxWgj

Mbappe lied. Point blank. He told Real Madrid he was coming, he gave them his word.

At the last second, after Real Madrid gave up on Erling Haaland just because of him, he went back on his word.
Nobody can trust him now. A man is as good as his word. And his means nothing.
Meanwhile, La Liga have insisted that they will report PSG to UEFA and the EU over Mbappe's deal.

La Liga's statement this evening about Mbappé is obviously partly sour grapes. But. PSG's spending is ludicrous.

Now that Mbappe has confirmed his plans, there now only remains one big question: can he finally help PSG win their first ever Champions League?
Boy from Paris winning PSG the CL, the holy grail they’ve chased for over a decade for the first time ever would be some story - there’s a hint of romance and mysticism for Mbappe staying at PSG. Madrid will obviously go back for him in like 3 years they’d be stupid not to
— Zak (@ZG1999_) May 21, 2022
Mbappe is incredibly smart. Winning the 15th CL for Madrid pales in comparison to winning the first CL in Paris' history.
— ExpectedChelsea (@ExpectedChelsea) May 21, 2022
PSG are one of the best-marketed clubs in the world, the possibilities for him are endless if he wins the CL. If he doesn't, he's young enough to move.
Mbappe is a Parisian too so winning them a CL would be even sweeter for him, unfinished business. Get it done by age 25/26 then cut ?
