Twitter Reacts as Tottenham Blow West Ham Away in First-Half Blitz

Well, Tottenham are going to win the Premier League title. We may as well end the season now.
Okay, maybe that's a bit of an overreaction but still, you have to admit that Jose Mourinho's charges looked ridiculously good during the first half against West Ham on Sunday.
Lined up in a 4-3-3, Spurs were devastating going forward and it took just 45 seconds for Heung-min Son to give them the lead.
Son's had 11 shots this season:

The provider of Son's goal? His partner in crime, Harry Kane of course.
Further evidence of the pair's telepathic footballing connection.

8 - Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have combined for eight @premierleague goals this season; only Teddy Sheringham and Darren Anderton (1992-93 & 1994-95) and Sheringham and Chris Armstrong (1995-96) have ever combined for more in a single PL season for Spurs (all 9). Telepathic. pic.twitter.com/JyL2XvX3eP

It didn't take long for Kane to get in on the act as well. With just eight minutes on the clock, the England skipper made it 2-0, smashing a drive past Fabianski from the edge of the area after nutmegging Declan Rice.
Twitter was loving it. Except West Ham fans of course.
Absolutely the nuts from @HKane

Things really did not get better for the Hammers after that either. Spurs made it three in the 16th minute with a sumptuous cross from Sergio Reguilon being nodded home by the imperious Kane.
Reguilón already hitting the ground running, Kovačić’ Chelsea POTY, James already one of PL elites to just think none of these guys could get proper minutes at Real Madrid.

Reguilón's end product at Spurs is already looking like an improvement on last season. Seems to have a bit more conviction in the final third.

Thankfully, the Spurs killing machine somewhat relented thereafter with the David Moyes' side stemming the tide for the rest of the first half.
The damage had already been done though, and Hammers fans were left pretty fuming.
Any hope West Ham had.

West Ham fans - go and do something else. Anything else. Don’t put yourself through it, it’s Sunday ffs

Has anyone made a joke about Moyes being back in the dugout yet? Cos i think it could really go down well...

okay, West Ham, we've all had a laugh, but can we fold the football club now

Tottenham though...
Genuine title contenders? Twitter seems to think so at least.
This Spurs team reminds me a bit of Conte's Chelsea in 2016/17. Conte inherited a great Mourinho team, added a few pieces to it and they won the title. Mourinho's inherited an excellent Pochettino team and made it his own with additions and style. pic.twitter.com/2MSJ3CLq8d

If Mourinho gets spurs the title, this will be the clearest indication at the massive failure of The board at United.

Mourinho was backed with the exact kinda players he needs. Spurs are currently playing a special brand of football.
Spurs are gonna win the league
