Newcastle are hopeful of signing Christian Eriksen at the end of the season, though current club Brentford, West Ham and Tottenham are also monitoring the situation.

Robert Lewandowski is looking to leave Bayern Munich this summer with a year left on his contract. There have been no talks over an extension.

Harry Kane, Declan Rice, Yves Bissouma and Jurrien Timber are among Erik ten Hag's summer transfer targets at Manchester United. However, without Champions League football their budget could be slashed.

Erling Haaland will decide on his new club within the next two weeks. Manchester City are confident of securing a deal, though Real Madrid, Paris-Saint Germain and Barcelona have all been linked.

Manchester United are also keeping tabs on 21-year-old River Plate midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who is also attracting interest from Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Alvaro Morata responded with a 'sharp no' when Arsenal tried to sign him recently. The Spaniard is on loan at Juventus from Atletico Madrid and previously played in England with Chelsea.

City are eyeing up Real Sociedad's Mikel Merino as a potential replacement for the departing Fernandinho, who has been approached by Brazilian sides Corinthians, Botafogo and Flamengo. He, however, prefers a move to former side Athletico Paranaense.

West Ham and Wolves have both been linked with Lucas Ocampos but will have to pay a release clause of €70m to sign him. Current club Sevilla want to extend his contract by a year and take that clause up to €90m.

Kasper Schmeichel is due to hold talks with Leicester over a new contract with the club in the summer.
