Manchester United remain linked with RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku as a way to boost their creativity next season. The Frenchman has long been considered a potential target given interim manager Ralf Rangnick’s connections to Red Bull.

United are also rumoured to have offered Paul Pogba a new contract that would make him the highest-paid player in the Premier League – worth £400,000 per week plus bonuses. But it could cause dressing room friction, with teammates feeling he doesn’t deserve it.

Tottenham are expected to battle Manchester United for the signature of soon-to-be out of contract West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, who would be a back-up at either club.

Liverpool have been tipped to offer £25m for Torino centre-back Gleison Bremer to add more depth in defence – the Reds are said to have first shown interest in January.

Bayern Munich chief Oliver Kahn insists that Robert Lewandowski will stay at the club next season. The superstar Pole has been considering a new challenge, with Barcelona particularly interested and links to Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Barcelona’s transfer strategy could lead them to Arsenal centre-back Gabriel, with the club’s intention to lose both Samuel Umtiti and Clement Lenglet this summer.

Another centre-back linked with Barcelona is Juventus star Matthijs de Ligt, valued at €100m.

Talks are ongoing between Inter and representatives of Paulo Dybala, who is on course to become a free agent when his Juventus contract expires at the end of the season.

Aston Villa are the latest club to show interest in Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter, who is leaving the Bundesliga side as a free agent in June. Juventus, West Ham and Tottenham are the other clubs to have watched him.

Brentford could offer Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk a new chapter in England and have started talks over a potential deal.

Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill has emerged as a target for Everton, Leicester, Southampton and Fulham. The 19-year-old has spent this season on loan at Huddersfield, who would also keen on a permanent deal should they get promoted back to the Premier League.
