We're not even halfway through March and yet most Tottenham fans may feel as though they have been stuck in this hellish month for an eternity.

Three straight defeats and two cup eliminations have left Spurs in turmoil, and while numerically they are well in the fight for a top-four finish, questions have been asked over whether Antonio Conte's side are up for the battle ahead.

Things aren't a whole lot better for Nottingham Forest, who are down in 14th and only narrowly outside the drop zone after their own tricky run of form, so both sides are in desperate need of a win when they face off on Saturday.

Here's all you need to know about this one.

Tottenham team news

Cristian Romero's midweek red card doesn't impact domestic games and so he would be available to start at centre-back, although he did go down injured after being dismissed so checks will have to be made on him.

Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ryan Sessegnon are all unavailable and they may be joined on the sidelines by Richarlison if Antonio Conte chooses to punish the Brazilian for his outburst in midweek.

Nottingham Forest team news

Ryan Yates has returned from illness to offer the smallest bit of relief in what is an unforgiving injury crisis for Forest.

Dean Henderson, Willy Boly, Giulian Biancone, Moussa Niakhate, Scott McKenna, Omar Richards and Cheikhou Kouyate are all unavailable, and Forest's attempts to register Steve Cook as emergency cover have been rebuffed by the Premier League.

Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest score prediction

Spurs are in a massive slump and it's impossible to know which version of Conte's side will turn up, but they should still have more than enough to navigate a struggling Forest side.

Away from home, Forest have been weak all season and they've been conceding goals for fun, which doesn't bode well as they come up against one of the deadliest strikers in league history in the form of Harry Kane.

It may be Forest's weaknesses that decide the fate of this game, rather than Spurs' strengths.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-0 Nottingham Forest
