Tottenham Hotspur continue to hold strong interest in Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo ahead of the imminent transfer deadline, 90min understands.

25-year-old Adarabioyo started out at Manchester City but has come of age at senior level since joining Fulham three years ago. Last season, he played a significant role in helping the Cottagers achieve their first top half Premier League finish since 2012.

But after agreeing a short-term extension to his Fulham contract in January, Adarabioyo is now into the final season of his deal and is set to move on before the summer window closes.

90min understands that Monaco are still interested in his services, having only signed Mohammed Salisu from Southampton to replace Axel Disasi and Malang Sarr from last season’s squad. The option to join Spurs is appealing to Adarabioyo, although Everton have also held talks over the possibility that he could alternatively move to Goodison Park by Friday's deadline.

Spurs are also hoping to move on Eric Dier and have offered him to Fulham, but the 29-year-old England international may not go this summer. Despite not yet featuring under new boss Ange Postecoglou, 90min understands he is in no rush to leave the club has called home since 2014.

Dier is happy to assess his options and leave on a free transfer next summer, potentially agreeing a pre-contract with his next club as soon as January. There is plenty of interest in the former Sporting CP youth player from abroad, with Sporting and Benfica among that group were they to respectively sell star defenders Goncalo Inacio and Antonio Silva. Monaco have enquired, as have teams in the Bundesliga, while Celtic are also admirers. Al Nassr present a path to Saudi Arabia too.

Fulham may not land Dier this month, but with Adarabioyo on his way out, Arsenal’s Rob Holding is another Premier League centre-back they are looking at potentially bringing in.

Elsewhere, the Cottagers are closing in on the signing of Lucas Ocampos from Sevilla. The terms of a transfer have been agreed for the two-time Europa League winner, who has also hammered out personal terms with Fulham. Now, the 29-year-old Argentine is weighing up a final decision.

Timothy Castagne has already joined Fulham for £12m from Leicester, while 90min understands that Moise Kean and Duvan Zapata are both targets to replace Aleksandar Mitrovic after he joined Al Hilal. A deal for either would be tough, with talks also held with Brazilian club Flamengo over their 26-year-old striker Pedro – but he looks set to stay in Brazil for at least the time being.
