Tottenham are back in action on Wednesday night when they face West Ham in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup.

Antonio Conte's side played for the first time in two weeks when they drew 2-2 with Liverpool on Sunday, missing a gluttony of chances but impressing nonetheless.

Spurs reached the final of this competition last season, coming up short to holders Manchester City, and earned their spot in this round courtesy of a tight 1-0 victory at Burnley.

Here's the side Conte could pick for the midweek clash.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - Pierluigi Gollini has made some appearances in the cup competitions but Lloris may be preferred for this tie.

Joe Rodon (CB) - Has barely featured this season, his last appearance coming in the loss at Mura. Could be drafted in to replace Davinson Sanchez.

Eric Dier (CB) - Beginning to impress with his influence as the central component of Conte's back three. The challenge now is maintaining that level of performance.

Ben Davies (CB) - One of the previous fringe members of the squad is now showing his quality on the left of defence. Did well against Liverpool.

2. Midfielders & wing backs

Japhet Tanganga (RWB) - The rotation option at right wing back behind Emerson Royal. A good defensive presence.

Oliver Skipp (CM) - Came off the bench against Liverpool and should start here. Spurs' best midfielder so far this season.

Harry Winks (CM) - Gave a timely reminder of his talents on Sunday but needs to start stringing those performances together with more consistency. May have earned another start.

Sergio Reguilon (LWB) - Took a knock in the win against Norwich but returned as a substitute against Liverpool. Should come in for Ryan Sessegnon.

3. Forwards

Lucas Moura (RW) - Entered the fray late on at the weekend. Scored a thunderbolt against Norwich and netted against West Ham last season.

Harry Kane (ST) - Ended his goal drought against Liverpool and will look for his 12th strike against the Hammers here.

Son Heung-min (LW) - Also netted on Sunday. Has eight goals so far this season.
