Tottenham continue their Europa Conference League campaign with a home fixture against Slovenian outfit NS Mura on Thursday night.

Spurs head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is under pressure following a bleak September, with his side losing their last three Premier League games by an aggregate score of 9-1. Elsewhere, they drew 2-2 with Rennes in their first group stage match in Europa and squeezed past Wolves on penalties in the Carabao Cup.

With plenty of changes expected following the wretched performance in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in the north London derby, here's the side Tottenham could field on Thursday.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Pierluigi Gollini (GK) - Tottenham's cup goalkeeper. Last featured in the Carabao Cup clash with Wolves and saved a penalty in the shootout victory.

Emerson Royal (RB) - Hasn't shown his strengths since joining from Barcelona in the summer, but this game should provide the perfect platform.

Joe Rodon (CB) - Hasn't had too many opportunities so far this season, playing most of the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace as a substitute before starting the draw at Rennes. His presence will give Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez a rest.

Cristian Romero (CB) - Still yet to nail down a starting spot following his summer move. Should be afforded more opportunities before the October international break, starting on Thursday night.

Ben Davies (LB) - The Welshman will naturally come in at left back for Sergio Reguilon, though may find himself in the starting XI more often if Reguilon doesn't pick up his performances soon.

2. Midfielders

Oliver Skipp (CM) - Should have started in the north London derby defeat. Not the most creative but gives Spurs more of a solid foundation than most of his midfield rivals.

Giovani Lo Celso (CM) - Scored four goals in nine Europa League appearances last season. Needs to contribute more frequently in an attacking sense in these games to nail down a starting spot in the Premier League XI.

Harry Winks (CM) - Wasn't in the squad at the weekend. Should be able to give Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Tanguy Ndombele a breather.

3. Forwards

Lucas Moura (RW) - Gets through plenty of running but attacking returns have been slim. He hasn't scored a goal for Tottenham since February.

Harry Kane (ST) - With Son Heung-min in need of a rest and no obvious striking alternative, Kane may feature up front again. His goals so far this season have come in cup competitions.

Bryan Gil (LW) - Made a difference on Sunday, his slide tackle leading to Son's consolation. Could play himself into the weekend's lineup with another bright showing.
