Tottenham have left a handful of first-team players out of their pre-season squad for this month’s tour to South Korea, including record signing Tanguy Ndombele and left-back Sergio Reguilon.

Summer signings Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster are among the 28-strong group heading to east Asia. There is not yet a place for centre-back Clement Lenglet, whose loan from Barcelona was only confirmed on Friday.

Joe Rodon is not travelling because of illness, while youngsters Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine have been granted extra time off after playing at the recent Under-19 European Championship - the implication is that both would have otherwise been on the tour.

As well as Ndombele, who has failed to live up to his £63m arrival in 2019 and spent part of last season on loan at former club Lyon, and Reguilon, Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Winks aren’t making the trip, sending a strong hint their days at the club are numbered.

A club statement confirmed the quartet will continue to train at Hotspur Way.

90min revealed just last month that Spurs are ready to sell Winks, who is attracting interest from Everton, Leicester, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Brentford.

Reguilon, meanwhile, made a strong start to his Spurs career but was dropped by Antonio Conte midway through last season and saw his campaign curtailed by injury. Lo Celso finished last season on loan at Villarreal after failing to command a regular place in north London.
