Tottenham eventually saw off Nottingham Forest to win 3-1 on Saturday afternoon and strengthen their grip on fourth spot.

Spurs came into proceedings off the back of FA Cup and Champions League exits as well as a defeat to Wolves, but first-half goals from Harry Kane put them 2-0 up before Son Heung-min added a third just after the hour mark.

Joe Worrall did pull one back for Forest and Andre Ayew had a late penalty saved, but Spurs' win takes them within a point of Manchester United albeit having played two more games.

Here are the next next six fixtures for Antonio Conte's side in the Premier League.

Next up for Spurs is a trip to Southampton, where they have a poor recent record. Spurs have won just one of their last six trips to St Mary's, drawing there last season 1-1 in late December.

The two squared off on the opening day of the 2022/23 campaign as Tottenham ran riot in a 4-1 victory. That all seems a long time ago now.

Tottenham will return from the international break in late March with a Monday night game at Everton, themselves in the middle of a relegation dog fight.

Spurs eventually saw the Toffees off back in October thanks to a Harry Kane penalty and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's 86th-minute effort.

Tottenham vs Brighton - Premier League

Tottenham and Brighton met at a similar stage last season and it was the Seagulls who flocked from north London with all three points as Leandro Trossard struck the game's only goal late on.

Spurs left the south coast with the win when the two teams last met, Kane striking in a 1-0 win in one of Robert De Zerbi's first games at Brighton manager.

Tottenham vs Bournemouth - Premier League

Spurs have a pretty peachy home record against Bournemouth in the Premier League, winning all five games and conceding just twice.

The Cherries are prime candidates for relegation back to the Championship, failing to offer much in attack while letting in plenty of goals at the back, but did earn a surprise 1-0 win over Liverpool.

Newcastle vs Tottenham - Premier League

Newcastle's season is in danger of fizzling out after defeat in the Carabao Cup final to Manchester United. Their stunted progress in the top four race hasn't helped either.

However, the Magpies returned from north London with all three points earlier this season. They're certainly a different side to the one Spurs only just beat 3-2 at St James' Park last term.

Manchester United have emerged as a force once again under Erik ten Hag and were dominant in a 2-0 victory over Spurs in October, having ten shorts on target to the visitors' two.

This is a huge game for Tottenham coming straight after the Newcastle clash. But with things so volatile in N17 right now, it's tough to say for certain whether Conte will even be in the dugout when the Red Devils visit in late April.
