Christian Stellini has taken over the reins at Tottenham with the objective of securing Champions League qualification clear in his mind, but has not endured the best run since his interim appointment.

Indeed, Sunday's defeat to Newcastle was nothing short of humiliating for the club, going 5-0 down inside just 21 minutes at St James' Park. That ended 6-1 and leaves Spurs six points adrift of the top four, with fewer games left than those above them.

Tottenham will view Manchester United's evergrowing injury list with pleasure as they welcome them to north London following their Newcastle clash.

The hosts have not beaten United since late October, but did so in superb fashion, ending the encounter 6-1, courtesy of both Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son being at the double.

Two English titans in Liverpool and Tottenham are enduring challenging seasons but will battle it out at the end of April as the Merseyside club search to close the gap.

Anfield has become somewhat a fortress over the years and the visitors will be well aware of their impressive home record seeing as their last win away from home came in May of 2011, which was topped off by a Luka Modric penalty.

Tottenham have often struggled to put the ball in the back of the net in this subpar season, but their last outing against Crystal Palace defied this belief as they shipped four goals past a hapless Vicente Guaita.

In the meeting before their 4-0 romp, Tottenham notched three past Palace and ran a tight ship at the back meaning they haven't conceded in their previous two bouts with their beginning of May visitors.

Unai Emery's appointment has turned Villa's season from a mid-table dwell into a last-gasp push for European football and has the rampant Ollie Watkins to thank.

The north London defenders will have to be at the peak of their powers to prevent the blistering Englishman from scoring and will look to feed their 23-goal striker at any given opportunity.

In their penultimate game of the season, Tottenham face a stubborn Brentford led by Thomas Frank.

Kane's fellow countryman Ivan Toney will have to be contained by the hosts or else the visiting side could have a field day against a fairly porous Tottenham back line.

An enticing four-goal thriller was the outcome in December, and with both teams drooling for mid-week football next season, this has been set up to be a similar story.

Leeds vs Tottenham - Premier League

To conclude a tumultuous campaign, Tottenham travel to Leeds to tie up their Premier League proceedings.

A late Rodrigo Bentancur double saw the London outfit gobble up all the spoils in November in a match-up harvesting seven goals, but they will be without their goal-hungry central midfielder this time around as he's been ruled out for the rest of this term.

If their return fixture is anything of the like, we're in for a treat.
