Dusan Vlahovic earned Juventus a crucial Derby della Mole win over Torino on Saturday evening.

The Serbian popped up in the 75th minute to tap home the winner in what was a rather poor game by all accounts.

Despite their ritiro and the strong words from club president Andrea Agnelli, Juventus didn't show any signs of improvement in first half an hour. La Vecchia Signora still lacked any sort of creative quality in the final third - as evidenced by the fact that they didn't manage a single shot on goal (off or on target) in the opening half an hour.

It took until the 33rd minute for Juventus to finally create a chance. The chance would fall to Dusan Vlahovic who, after being played through on goal by Moise Kean, flicked the ball past Koffi Djidji before seeing his effort on goal well saved by Vanja Milinković-Savić in the Toro goal.

That chance was the only one Allegri's men would create in an extremely turgid first half played out between two not-very-good football teams.

At the start of the second half the visitors would force Milinković-Savić into a second good save of the game - Manuel Locatelli seeing his side-footed effort from outside of the box tipped over the crossbar by the Torino goalkeeper.

Kean would then miss a glorious chance to open the scoring in the 65th minute. The Everton loanee was found, completely unmarked eight yards from goal, by Filip Kostic but could only direct the ball wide of the post. By all accounts, a really bad miss.

Smelling blood after carving Torino open once, Juventus pressed forward with real urgency in the game for the following ten minutes. This search for a goal led to Vlahovic forcing Milinković-Savić into a great save with a header, and culminated in the Serbian striker finding the net in the 75th minute.

Vlahovic reacted quickest at the back post to tap the ball home after Danilo had flicked an Alex Sandro and earn his side a crucial 1-0 win.
