Thomas Muller confirms decision on Germany future

Thomas Muller has confirmed that he does not plan to retire from international duty with Germany.
The Bayern Munich forward hinted at calling time on his international career after Germany's World Cup elimination, giving a farewell speech before admitting he 'needed to think about things'.
One month later, and Muller has confirmed that he isn't going anywhere just yet.
"I was emotional after the Costa Rica game, of course. It was a sad moment, especially because we were eliminated even if we won the game," Muller told a press conference.
"I've been in good communication with Hansi [Flick]. As long as I am a professional footballer, I will always be available to the national team.
"It's up to the coach to decide when, if and how. The goal is to be successful again. Hansi has many options in attack. I'm very relaxed, but will absolutely be there when the coach needs me."

Muller has played 121 times for his country, netting 44 goals and playing an integral role in Germany's run to World Cup glory.
Now 33 years old, Muller is tied for tenth in the World Cup's all-time scoring charts with ten goals. Of active players, only Kylian Mbappe (12) and Lionel Messi (13) have scored more at the competition.
