Bradford City striker Andy Cook has been named the PFA Vertu Motors League Two Fans' Player of the Month for February.

The 32-year-old's excellent season up top for the Bantams continued last month, contributing five goals and two assists as their promotion push gathered pace - Bradford's only loss came when he didn't score.

Cook took in 25% of the public vote to take home February's award, beating Crewe Alexandra's Daniel Agyei, Salford City's Elliot Watt, Sutton United's Alistair Smith, and Stockport County duo Kyle Wootton and Will Collar to the prize.

Bradford's month began with a 1-1 draw at home to Mansfield Town, with Cook opening the scoring at Valley Parade.

He then scored one and grabbed two assists in their crucial late win at promotion rivals Stevenage before rounding off the scoring in a 2-0 win against Tranmere Rovers.

Mark Hughes' side fell to a 1-0 defeat to Barrow before capping off February in style. Cook notched in the only goal in a win at local rivals Doncaster Rovers, before grabbing their second as they beat Gillingham 2-0 at Priestfield Stadium.
