Tottenham have the chance to put their 3-3 disaster against West Ham on Sunday behind them when they kick off their Europa League campaign on Thursday.

Spurs host Austrian outfit LASK for their first game in Group J, with Jose Mourinho expected to ring the changes from the team at the weekend.

Here's the lineup he could select.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - In truth, hasn't been given too many problems so far this season, but also keeps conceding goals. Would love a clean sheet on Thursday to boost his confidence.

Matt Doherty (RB) - Played three times for the Republic of Ireland during the international break so was rested against West Ham. Should come in for Serge Aurier.

Davinson Sanchez (CB) - Scored a comical own goal on Sunday but has been confirmed as a starter against LASK. An improved performance is a must.

Toby Alderweireld (CB) - Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga remain absent through injury and Joe Rodon is ineligible, so it'll be another start for the Belgium international.

Ben Davies (LB) - Comfortably seen as second choice following the arrival and subsequent excellent performances of Sergio Reguilon. Will get plenty of run outs in the Europa League this season.

2. Midfielders

Harry Winks (CM) - Hopefully, if Spurs are in a situation where they need it, Winks will smash the ball out of the stadium when his side are under the cosh.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (CM) - Has settled extremely well since signing from Southampton and gives the side a nice balance.

Moussa Sissoko (CM) - He played on Sunday, but if he features as a starter on Thursday we may be able to see Giovani Lo Celso alongside Tanguy Ndombele on Monday at Burnley. We can but dream.

3. Forwards

Gareth Bale (RW) - Most Spurs fans have still got goosebumps from watching Bale and his ponytail trot onto the pitch on Sunday for his second Spurs debut. Missed a decent chance and a few more minutes here would do him good.

Carlos Vinicius (ST) - It's about time Harry Kane had a rest, right? It seems like the perfect opportunity to give Vinicius his first appearance in a Spurs shirt.

Lucas Moura (LW) - Featured as a substitute against West Ham, something he might have to get used to following the aforementioned Welshman's arrival. Still offers bundles of effort and industry out wide and should get a start here.
