Manchester United can move to the top of the Premier League table for the first time since September 2017 with a win over Burnley on Tuesday.

Despite a slow start to the season, the Red Devils have rebounded and found form over last two months, and are now level on points with Liverpool but with a game in hand over their north west rivals.

That game in hand has come at the most intriguing time possible, too. Avoiding defeat at Turf Moor will put Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side top of the table ahead of a visit to Anfield to play Liverpool on Sunday. And while Solskjaer has been keen to stress that titles aren't won in January, you can't blame United fans for getting just a little bit giddy.

It's a massive week for the Red Devils. Here's the team they could field against Burnley.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

David de Gea (GK) - Dean Henderson kept his first clean sheet at Old Trafford against Watford, but De Gea remains first choice and will be recalled to the XI.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) - Wan-Bissaka was rested against Watford, but will be back in the side for a busy week of football.

Victor Lindelof (CB) - Solskjaer confirmed that Lindelof completed a full training session, while Eric Bailly didn't following a collision at the weekend, so expect the former to start.

Harry Maguire (CB) - Despite being one booking away from suspension, Maguire will start for United.

Alex Telles (LB) - The Brazilian provides pinpoint crossing and a solid attacking outlet from deep and has been perfect competition for Luke Shaw.

2. Midfielders

Nemanja Matic (DM) - Matic's role at United is, admittedly, becoming less and less with each passing week. Having said that, his physicality and height will come in handy against a robust Burnley side.

Scott McTominay (DM) - He bagged the winner against Watford and was comfortable asserting his authority in midfield. McTominay is a safe pair of hands and provides energy from box to box.

Bruno Fernandes (AM) -
Rested against Watford, Fernandes comes back into the side for a huge week in the title race. No pressure, Bruno.

3. Forwards

Marcus Rashford (RW) - Rashford's flair could be key to unlocking a stubborn defence from wide areas, should he be able to find pockets of space.

Edinson Cavani (ST) -
Cavani is fresh and ready to return following the completion of his suspension. A veteran striker in games against a resilient defence could be the difference.

Anthony Martial (LW) - Martial has bagged in three league games against Burnley at Turf Moor and has come into form as of late. Ideal timing.
