Manchester City will be eyeing a club-record 28 games unbeaten with a 22nd consecutive win in the Manchester derby against Manchester United this weekend.

Pep Guardiola's side have been on a sensational run of form that has seen them steam clear of the pack and into a 14 point lead at the top of the Premier League.

They've been able to rotate heavily throughout this hot streak and with so many players in good form, Guardiola has some selection headaches ahead of this huge top of the table clash. Here's the team he should go with...

1. Goalkeeper and Defenders

Ederson (GK) - The most clean sheets in the Premier League this season and the undisputed number one goalkeeper at Man City.

Kyle Walker (RB) - Returned to the side against Wolves to put in an excellent performance and his pace will be key in defending against the counter attack.

John Stones (CB) - Man City have conceded just four goals this season when Stones has been on the pitch. That's good.

Ruben Dias (CB) - The signing of the season without doubt and the best defender in Europe this season. Starts when fit.

Joao Cancelo (LB) - Left or right it doesn't matter, Cancelo has been superb for Guardiola and is just as effective on both sides.

2. Midfielders

Rodri (DM) - The phasing out of Fernandinho from the starting lineup has been eased by the great form of Rodri in holding midfield.

Ilkay Gundogan (CM) - City's top goalscorer this season, Gundogan has been a difference maker on so many occasions that he is certain to start here.

Kevin De Bruyne (CM) - City's best and most important player, De Bruyne starts whenever fit.

3. Forwards

Bernardo Silva (RW) - The Portuguese winger has rediscovered his magic touch during this winning run and deserves to start once again.

Gabriel Jesus (ST) - Two goals in midweek against Wolves will mean that he'll keep his place ahead of Sergio Aguero.

Raheem Sterling (LW) - Only Lionel Messi and Aguero have scored more goals under Guardiola in their careers than Sterling and despite his awful record against Man United, he starts.
