Manchester United travel to the AMEX Stadium to face Brighton on Saturday for their second fixture of the Premier League season - their first trip of two trips to the ground in a matter of days.

The new league campaign began in horrible fashion for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, losing 3-1 at home to Crystal Palace - their first league defeat since January - and they'll be desperate to put things right and get some points on the board here. They somewhat bounced back with an EFL Cup victory against Luton Town, but this is a different prospect.

However, they face a Brighton side who have kicked off the season in fine fashion. After an opening day defeat to Chelsea, the Seagulls have won three games in a row in all competitions without conceding a single goal.

Here is the XI that Solskjaer could name on the weekend.

1. Goalkeeper and Defenders

David de Gea (GK) - After Dean Henderson's impressive mid-week performance against Luton, De Gea will be feeling the heat from the young Englishman. The Spaniard will need to up his game if he wishes to keep his place in the starting XI.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) - Having missed out on last weekend's defeat against his former club, Wan-Bissaka is expected to return. The 22-year-old is closing in on his 50th appearance for the Red Devils.

Victor Lindelof (CB) - The Swede's performance against Crystal Palace drew a lot of criticism, so he will need to step it up if he wants to keep the doubters quiet.

Harry Maguire (CB) - The captain was the only player to keep his starting berth in the EFL Cup victory over Luton, and rarely misses a game for Solskjaer's side.

Luke Shaw (LB) - Shaw is another one who came under fire after the opening day defeat. The former Southampton man is three games off his 100th Premier League appearance for Man Utd.

2. Midfielders

Nemanja Matic (CM) - The 32-year-old could return to the side after Solskjaer opted for Scott McTominay in last week's opener.

Paul Pogba (CM) - Often the centre of so much debate, there is no denying that the Red Devils looked far stronger with Pogba in the side last season. However, the promising start made by new recruit Donny van de Beek could have the World Cup winner looking over his shoulder.

Bruno Fernandes (CM) - The Portuguese will have good memories of his last visit to the AMEX. Fernandes scored twice in a 3-0 win, including an emphatic volley that won Goal of the Month.

3. Forwards

Mason Greenwood (RW) - Much like Fernandes, Greenwood also starred in his last appearance against Brighton, scoring and assisting once.

Anthony Martial (ST) - The Frenchman will be looking to open his account for the season against a team he has never scored against.

Marcus Rashford (LW) - The 22-year-old scored his first of the campaign to put the game beyond all doubt against Luton, and will be hoping to push on from there.
