Everton will be aiming to maintain their perfect start to the new campaign when they welcome West Ham to Goodison Park on Wednesday night.

The Toffees have won all five of their matches in league and cup so far this season, and Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping his new-look side can maintain their momentum in this midweek fixture.

With the congested fixture list causing teams to rotate their players, there will likely be a few changes to the starting lineup that dispatched Crystal Palace over the weekend - meaning the likes of Bernard, Alex Iwobi and Gylfi Sigurdsson may get a chance to impress.

Here's how Everton could lineup at kick off.

1. Goalkeeper and Defenders

Jordan Pickford (GK) - The England and Everton number one has had a mixed start to the season after an impressive performance against Tottenham on the opening day was followed up by a dreadful mistake against Fleetwood Town in the previous round. Has got to improve, quickly.

Jonjoe Kenny (RB) - Kenny had an impressive loan spell last season with Bundesliga outfit Schalke and started in the previous two rounds. Can expect to come back into the starting XI against West Ham.

Michael Keane (CB) - With Jarrad Branthwaite and Mason Holgate out injured, the England international will remain at the heart of defence.

Yerry Mina (CB) - Keane's usual partner Yerry Mina will almost certainly take his usual place next to the former Burnley man as the Toffees look to assure a safe passage into the fifth round.

Lucas Digne (LB) - Club legend Leighton Baines retired over the summer and Ancelotti replaced him with 19-year-old Niels Nkounkou. The French teenager played against Salford and Fleetwood, even grabbing an assist against Joey Barton's side but whether he is trusted against top-flight opposition remains to be seen.

2. Midfielders

Tom Davies (DM) - Summer singing Allan has impressed during his opening first few appearances in an Everton shirt, but rotation is likely. Tom Davies the likely benefactor as he looks to impress his boss.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (CM) - The Iceland international has had a watching brief since James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure strolled into Everton's midfield. Bagged a goal and provided an assist against Salford and will be hoping to replicate that form against higher-level opposition.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (CM) - Doucoure has settled into life in Merseyside seamlessly, and his energetic displays have already endeared him to the Goodison Park faithful. Andre Gomes will likely be rested for this Carabao Cup clash, meaning he's in line for another start.

3. Forwards

Bernard (RW) - The diminutive Brazilian has barely featured so far for Everton in 2020/21, but on his day, he can be a real threat.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (ST) - The 23-year-old is currently leading the Premier League goal scoring charts alongside Jamie Vardy after bagging five goals. With Everton hoping to claim their first piece of silverware in over twenty years, Moise Kean may not be afforded a rare start.

Alex Iwobi (LW) - Iwobi was bought for a huge £35m last summer but failed to live up to expectations. Scored two goals in all competitions last season but has already got half of that total this time after notching against Fleetwood. Needs a good performance to reinvigorate his career.
