The clubs with the most players in the 2022 World Cup semi-finals
If you're not of a French, Croatia, Moroccan or Argentine persuasion, there's no one left to support at the 2022 World Cup.
That's where club allegiances kick in; supporters will be hopeful of a player from their club bringing the trophy home to cover up the pain of a premature exit of their favoured nation.
Here are the clubs with the most players present in the World Cup semi-finals.
Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich boast the most amount of players in the squads of nations that have qualified for the World Cup semi-finals with six.
The Bundesliga giants are represented by three of the four semi-finalists, with four of their six players - Kingsley Coman, Lucas Hernandez, Benjamin Pavard and Dayot Upamecano - in the French squad. Croatian Josip Stanisic and Morocco's Noussair Mazraoui also feature, but there is no Argentine presence.
Regardless of the semi-final results, Bayern will have at least one player in the final.

Atletico Madrid
The Atletico Madrid and Argentina teams share a few certain characteristics - y'know, 'grinta' and 's***housery' and all that - so it's no surprise there's a heavy Albiceleste vibe at Estadio Metropolitano.
Angel Correa, Nahuel Molina and Rodrigo De Paul are all Argentina squad members, while Antoine Griezmann is back in Madrid permanently having left for Barcelona shortly after France's 2018 World Cup win. Backup Croatian goalkeeper Ivo Grbic completes the set.

Sevilla
If both Argentina and Morocco reach the final, Sevilla fans will be happy as they'll be guaranteed a World Cup winner from their club.
Morocco goalkeeper Bono has arguably been the most impressive Nervionenses player in Qatar with his excellent displays between the sticks, while Youssef En-Nesyri has also enjoyed his World Cup campaign with two goals so far.
Sevilla's Argentina contingent of Marcos Acuna, Papu Gomez and Gonzalo Montiel are looking to win the Albiceleste its first World Cup since 1986.

Real Madrid
Real Madrid usually have a fair number of players in each World Cup final - such is their penchant for acquiring global superstars - but there is no guarantee they'll be represented in Qatar's final game.
2018 Ballon d'Or winner Luka Modric will need his midfield colleagues to be on top form again to stop Argentina, while young duo Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni will come up against Morocco.
We've counted Karim Benzema, though obviously he's a little bit crocked at the moment.

Dinamo Zagreb
Croatia's second consecutive semi-final appearance is good news for Dinamo Zagreb, who are back on the map thanks to four of their national team stars.
Dominik Livakovic has announced himself to the world with his excellent displays in goals, while Bruno Petkovic netted a vital equaliser against Brazil before their penalty shootout triumph. Mislav Orsic has been used more sparingly and centre back Josip Sutalo is yet to feature.

Juventus
Juventus are hardly as good as they were four or five years ago, but they still have some stardust sprinkled around.
Argentine duo Leandro Paredes and Angel Di Maria could convince the Juve faithful a little more with a World Cup victory, while Adrien Rabiot has emerged as a key figure for France due to injuries to other midfielders.

Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham are another side guaranteed a player in the World Cup final.
Psycho defender Cristian Romero will be tasked with stopping Ivan Perisic and Croatia's other attackers, while Hugo Lloris produced a strong performance in France's quarter-final win over England.

Paris Saint-Germain
It's well documented that Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi are good friends at Paris Saint-Germain, though now the pair will go head to head for a spot in Qatar's final. Mbappe even joked that “I will have to destroy my friend”, to which Hakimi responded: “I’m going to smash him.”
Lionel Messi will hope to meet one of his teammates in the final, though his Argentina side first need to defeat Croatia in the other semi-final.

Wydad
Rounding off the teams with three players in the World Cup semi-finals are Wydad, who are the reigning Botola Pro champions.
Reserve goalkeeper Ahmed Tagnaouti has not featured, but Yahia Attiyat Allah was brilliant in the victory over Portugal, setting up Youssef En-Nesyri's winner. Yahya Jabrane has played just 13 minutes in the competition so far.
