Only two weeks left in the 2022 Major League Soccer campaign, and things are heating up.

In the East, it was an MVP showdown between Hany Mukhtar and Sebastian Driussi. Though each player scored a goal, the Nashville SC figure maintains the lead in the Golden Boot race at a whopping 23 goals. The West saw plenty of action as well, with a classic Chicharito goal and stunning Julian Gressel strike to round out week 32.

Here's everything on this edition of goals of the week...

5. Sebastian Driussi (vs. Nashville SC)

To kick off, we have Sebastian Driussi against Nashville SC. His equalizer in the 60th minute brings the Austin FC figure to 21 goals and second on the 2022 Golden Boot race.

He's become a monumental figure for the Texas team, going from just five goals and five assists last season to one of the league's leading goal-scorers in 2022.

With two regular-season games left, and the MLS Cup playoffs fast approaching, there's no telling what Driussi will accomplish.

4. Chicharito (vs. Colorado Rapids)

Ah, a classic by none other than Chicharito himself.

The Mexican figure sent supporters into a frenzy with his back-heel goal that secured the much needed victory for the LA Galaxy. The team now stands in seventh place in the Western Conference, holding on to the last ticket to the playoffs for now.

3. Santiago Moreno (vs. Columbus Crew)

We love an extra time goal.

Santiago Moreno secured the 1-1 draw for the Portland Timbers in the last second of the game with a stunning right-footed strike into the lower right corner of the goal.

The draw puts the Timbers in fifth place of the Western Conference table just in time for the playoffs. After a bittersweet 2021 postseason campaign, the Timbers are returning with vengeance.

2. Julian Gressel (vs. Seattle Sounders)

After some time in the shadows, Julian Gressel seems to be back and better than ever. The newest Whitecaps figure stunned with his right-footed volley from just outside the box. Stefan Frei attempted to make the save, but there was no stopping Gressel.

Though the 2-1 victory leaves the Canadian side just outside the playoff cutoff in ninth place, the race remains tight. Anything can happen before Decision Day.

1. Facundo Torres (vs. Toronto FC)

Last, but certainly not least, we have Facundo Torres against Toronto FC.

The player opened up the scoring in the ninth minute of the match, giving way for the 4-0 triumph over Toronto FC. After lifting the US Open Cup, it seems Orlando City still have the energy to go for the league trophy. The Florida side sits in fifth place of the Eastern Conference table, inspiring a postseason run.
