Week 21 of the 2022 Major League Soccer campaign delivered some great goals. Rivalry match ups continued to inspire fierce performances by the league's biggest and brightest, making this edition just that much better.

It was a showdown in the Eastern Conference as Robert Taylor and Valentin Castellanos inspired their teams to victory with stunning individual efforts, while Mauricio Pereyra propelled Orlando City to a 1-1 draw against Atlanta United through an incredible set-piece.

Here's the best goals of Week 21...

5. Robert Taylor (vs. Charlotte FC)

To kick off this week's list we have Robert Taylor against Charlotte FC. The Inter Miami midfielder pulled one back for the South Florida side after dancing through the defense to reach the right side of the box and manage the right-footed shot to the bottom left corner.

4. Valentin Castellanos (vs. New York Red Bulls)

Taty Castellanos delivered NYCFC a derby win in what could be his last game in MLS. With rumors swirling about an imminent transfer to Girona, Castellanos' last goal for NYCFC could be the stunner against New York Red Bulls on Sunday.

The game's lone goal came in the 69th minute as Castellanos played off of Santiago Rodriguez to shoot from the left side of the six-yard box into the center of the goal.

3. Yordy Reyna (vs. Inter Miami)

Charlotte FC's forward had no problem scoring against Inter Miami.

Reyna scored twice against the South Florida side, wasting no time in the first minute of the match before netting a second just before halftime. But it's his second effort that lands him on this list, as the right-footed shot found the top right corner of the goal in a stunning display. Inter Miami goalkeeper Drake Callender attempted to make the save but there was no stopping that shot.

2. Gustavo Bou (vs. Philadelphia Union)

New England Revolution's Gustavo Bou is slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with. The forward scored his seventh goal of the season after connecting with Brandon Bye to manage the stunning right-footed shot from the center of the box to the top right corner.

The Revolution may have lost the game 2-1, but Bou's goal was definitely still one to watch.

1. Mauricio Pereyra (vs. Atlanta United)

And at number one, we have Mauricio Pereyra's set-piece goal against Atlanta United.

His right-footed strike to the top left corner of the goal was enough to open up the scoring in the 10th minute for Orlando City at the daunting Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Though the match ended in a 1-1 draw, the midfielder was able to mark his first goal of the season. He's now managed one goal and nine assists in 20 matches of the 2022 campaign to inspire Orlando City to fifth place on the Eastern Conference table.
