The full-slate of Major League Soccer action after the international break saw plenty of impressive strikes and well-worked goals by teams from both the Western and Eastern Conferences.

Leonardo Campana stepped in in the absence of Lionel Messi for Inter Miami against Atlanta United, but it wasn't enough as the Herons fell in a physical battle down south. Both Houston Dynamo and Atlanta had several moments of terrific build-up play that saw them finish off chances with ease, while a certain right-back for LAFC found the back of the net with his weak foot in El Trafico.

With that being said, here are the best goals of the week...

5. Giorgos Giakoumakis (vs Inter Miami)

To kick off, we have Giorgos Giakoumakis finding Atlanta United's fourth goal of the game to reestablish their two goal lead.

While the strike from the Greece international isn't the most difficult looking, the build-up to the goal is excellent. The former Celtic player has scored 14 goals in 2023, tied for most in MLS, as Atlanta look to push for a top-four finish in the final stretch of the campaign.

4. Corey Baird (vs St Louis City)

What a team goal by Houston Dynamo.

Like Giakoumakis' goal, the headed effort by Corey Baird was essentially a tap in, but the work the Dynamo did leading up to the goal was nothing short of impressive.

The intricate passing in and around St Louis City's 18-yard-box carved them open, and Baird made no mistake from close-range.

3. Ryan Hollingshead (vs LA Galaxy)

Take a bow, Ryan Hollingshead.

The right-back cuts inside on his weaker left foot and finds the back of the net from outside the box, restoring LAFC's lead over city rivals LA Galaxy. Hollingshead's strike helped propel the Black and Gold to victory over the Galaxy, 4-2.

2. Leonardo Campana (vs Atlanta United)

Leonardo Campana's first goal against Atlanta United was a thing of beauty.

Fellow Inter Miami teammate Dixon Arroyo nearly scored from the parking lot at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but his shot struck the post, and Campana took it from there.

Miami's number nine took the ball on hist chest, and flicked it up and over USMNT defender Miles Robinson before sending it home through Brad Guzan's gloves.

1. Jose Martinez (vs FC Cincinnati)

Jose Martinez just might be one of the best long-range shooters in MLS.

What a way to score your third goal of the season against one of the best, if not the best, teams in the league in FC Cincinnati.

Martinez' opening goal wouldn't be enough for Philadelphia Union as they settled for a 2-2 draw at Subaru Park.
