Week seven is in the books for MLS, and it did not disappoint.

Players took risks with set pieces that resulted in stunning goals, while others used speed on the counter attack to dominate offensively. This round of matches can be categorized as anything but standard, and the following top five goals reflect that.

5. Luis Diaz Espinoza vs Toronto FC

The Columbus Crew midfielder inaugurated the scoring against Toronto FC with a thrilling counter attack that led to a face off between him and goalkeeper Alex Bono. Luis Dias Espinoza teased a direction before rocketing the ball into the back of the net.

4. Ola Kamara vs Inter Miami

After an injury-riddled season for D.C. United, Ola Kamara stepped up against Inter Miami to inspire the much needed 3-0 victory. Kamara kicked off the scoring in the 15th minute after a defensive effort allowed the player to find a pocket of space before finding the back of the net. The D.C. United striker exuded tranquility, perfectly timing his steps before firing the shot.

3. Ismael Tajouri vs LAFC

Ismael Tajouri sealed the 2-1 victory for NYCFC after scoring the phenomenal game-winning goal in the 90th minute. The last corner of the match gave New York City FC one last opportunity. Jesus Medina directed the ball inside the box, finding Tajouri unmarked at the back post in the perfect position to score.

2. Cristian Casseres Jr. vs Orlando City

Cristian Casseres Jr. doubled RBNY’s lead with a stunning free-kick in the 60th minute. The New York Red Bulls midfielder curled the ball beautifully into the top left corner, leaving Orlando goalkeeper Pedro Gallese with nothing to do but simply watch.

1. Gianluca Busio vs Houston Dynamo

The 19-year-old Sporting Kansas City midfielder scored an absolutely world class free-kick that left Houston Dynamo goalkeeper Marko Marić lifeless. Gianluca Busio rocketed the ball into the net from about 28 yards out, equalizing the score before Sporting Kansas City took the lead. Busio’s goal inspired a string of goals by Kansas that propelled their 3-2 win.
