The football world was rocked two years ago when Cristiano Ronaldo decided to swap the glamour of Real Madrid for the storied traditions of Juventus.

He was Los Blancos' all-time record goalscorer after nine years in the Spanish capital and had won a staggering 15 trophies for the club, including four Champions League titles, but chose to walk away from Zinedine Zidane's all-conquering side in favour of a new challenge that was offered in Turin.

With La Vecchia Signora on course for another Scudetto this season, the Portuguese star has continued to perform at his brilliant best, defying the powers of Father Time, and there's plenty of statistics to back up just how terrific he's been in Italy.

1. He's Been a Lethal Goalscorer This Season

This season, Ronaldo has continued to spearhead I Bianconeri's title challenge, and no player has scored as much as his 26 Serie A goals this season for the club since Omar Sívori's 28 strikes in the 1959/60 campaign.

For the 10th time in his career, the former Man Utd star has passed 25 goals in a single domestic season, with no other player in Europe's top five leagues achieving this...other than, of course, Lionel Messi.

Even at 35 years old, there's no sign that he'll stop anytime soon.

2. He's Broken Serie A Goalscoring Records Already

After just two seasons, the forward has already etched his name into Serie A's history books.

His 47 league goals has made him the highest scoring Portuguese player in the competition's history, past Milan great Rui Costa and there's plenty of time for him to make sure his tally won't be surpassed for a while.

3. He's Still Able to Effectively Lead Juve's Frontline

The Portuguese star continues to be the focal point for I Bianconeri, and will remain to be their main goalscoring threat as long as his teammates can keep creating chances for him.

Over the last two seasons, only Messi (156) has registered more shots on target than his 133. He's also had more efforts on goal than any other Serie A player, demonstrating just how highly his teammates continue to rate his ability.

It's also shown by the fact that his touches in the box have gone up vastly, with his 13.43 per game the second highest mark he's reached in his career - signifying that he's truly become a great centre-forward.

4. But Don't Discount Him From Tapping Into His Youth

While Ronaldo has increasingly been used as a more traditional striker by Maurizio Sarri, he's still able to rely on his excellent technical skills away from the box as well.

He's still amassed the third-most successful dribbles in the Italian top-flight this season, with only Jeremie Boga and Josip Iličić making more of them. Whether it's from a central position or cutting in from the left-wing, the Portuguese legend continues to show he hasn't lost his old tricks just yet.

With only Ciro Immobile the only attacker to have more assists to his name in the division, it can certainly be suggested that he's more than just a goalscorer for the Italian champions.

If he can continue to feed off the likes of Paulo Dybala, there's no reason to believe the 35-year-old can continue to excel as a complete attacking threat - even at his age.
